Intro to knits --  This is a beginner class for anyone who has sewn before but never sewn with knits & wants to extend their knowledge what knit fabrics are, how to shop for them online without ever having felt them, and how to sew with them on a regular sewing machine (sergers will NOT be used for this class)
>>In class we will be sewing children's underwear. You can choose a variety of styles and sizes varying from 6mnths- 12 yrs. Boxers or briefs depending on the child's preference! Learn how to work with a PDF pattern and all sorts of things you need to know before working with knits.

Instructor -  Davonne grew up on the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Canada with her parents and two younger brothers when she was twelve years old. She has always considered herself to be a creative person even graduating from the Interior Decorating program at Algonquin College. She loves entertaining, thinks gardening is a form of punishment and coffee is life! Davonne has been sewing for a little over a year now and absolutely loves it. She has been married to her farm obsessed husband, Mel and their three crazy boys, ages 8, 5 and 3.
