Embroidery Class - November 2nd - Weeknight

Join Karen to learn some simple embroidery stitches, and make a beautiful heart sampler. You’ll learn the following stitches: running, back, cross, threaded running stitch, chain, fern and star. Once you’ve practiced these stitches, you’ll be able to tackle other embroidery projects!

Skill level — basic sewing skills required

When — Friday November 2nd, 6pm - 10pm

About Instructor - Karen is a former elementary school teacher. She started a business in 2013 making classical ballet tutus and other costumes. She has been sewing all her life, starting on a Holly Hobby sewing machine. Recently she has been honing her garment-making skills with courses in couture sewing. In 2016, Karen expanded her sewing business to include custom sewing and alterations. She teaches sewing and knitting to both adults and children. Karen’s other interests include embroidery, quilting and knitting, as well as volunteering with a Dog Rescue group.
