Join Karen to learn some simple embroidery stitches and applique techniques.

What you'll learn:
- How to hand embroider eyes/nose
- How to prep applique
- Which stitches to use to secure applique

Bring in your favorite pattern partially completed and add extra touches.

About Instructor - Karen is a former elementary school teacher. She started a business in 2013 making classical ballet tutus and other costumes. She has been sewing all her life, starting on a Holly Hobby sewing machine. Recently she has been honing her garment-making skills with courses in couture sewing. In 2016, Karen expanded her sewing business to include custom sewing and alterations. She teaches sewing and knitting to both adults and children. Karen’s other interests include embroidery, quilting and knitting, as well as volunteering with a Dog Rescue group.
