During these workshops, students will learn how to repair, resize, alter, and update clothing.
By the end of these workshops, students will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge of the different types of stitches, seams, hems, sewing machine attachments, types of common fabrics, and apply taking-up, taking-in, letting-out, shortening, lengthening techniques and replacing zippers, including pinning, marking, writing down measurements, and preparing garments for alterations.
